This list will feature the countries/cities which I have travelled before in my life.
- Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Year Travelled: Aug’09
A place worth visiting once. Not much shopping and foods. Things are cheap ONLY if you bargain! Traditional Vietnamese dripping coffee, pastries & beef pho is a MUST TRY! Ben Thanh Mkt & District 1 (shopping areas) is a MUST-GO (though not much things there either). Tourist attraction such as Cu Chi Tunnels, War Museum is a good place to know more about HCM City.

It is indeed a Shopping Paradise! Food, apparels and all the things are so cheap! Chatuchak & Pratunam Mkt is a MUST-GO. Suan Lum Night Bazzar, MBK, Platinum Mall & Chitlom Central (near Arnoma Hotel) is also good to shop.
- Taipei, Taiwan (ROC)
Year Travelled: Jan 2008.
It is indeed a place full of shopping & eating. Many foods to eat! Generally, prices in Taipei are roughly the same as S’pore except for transportation & foods which are cheaper. Night mkts are a must go! Easy to navigate around.
- Hong Kong, SAR China
Year Travelled: May 2007.
It is indeed a shopping & eating paradise! However, most things are costly over there. Their nights are vibrant and nice with all the neon lights around. Ladies, Fa Yuen & Temple Street is a must go. Its easy to navigate around.
- Seoul, Korea
Year Travelled: December 2006.
Seoul is a nice place to visit esp. in winter. They have really nice white coldy winter! Overall, all things are so xpensive be it food, apparel etc. The theme parks, snow capped mountains & ski resort are good.
- Jeju, Korea

Jeju is part of the itinerary when I went on a package tour to Seoul. Seriously, nothing much to see over there xcept the “All In” filming site (Lotte Hotel & Casino), Tangerine Gdn & Tapdong Street. Jeju milk taste very nice.
- Daegu, Korea
Year Travelled: December 2006.
Daegu is part of the itinerary when I went on a package tour to Seoul. Not much things in Daegu despite being 1 of their developed city. However, their spa valley is nice! Consider to be 1 of the most popular spa in korea.
- Tanjung Pinang, Indonesia
Year Travelled: 1995, 2005.
This place is very ulu. After less than an hr of ferry, u will reach this simple village in the island. Food was limited and OK. Limited things to shop. Think its really a good place to just getaway from the busy city life.

Year Travelled: April 2005.
上海 is indeed a great place with nice scenary and food. All the things are so cheap there! Really a good place to shop. So many fashionable apparels. 黄浦江 @ night was so beautiful with all the neon lights! It’s cool spring climate was so shiok.

无锡 is part of the itinerary when I went on a package tour to 上海. Along the journey, we experienced the sand storm and ice flake rain. Haha, 1st time to see such a phenomena. In 无锡, went to see how real pearls are manufactured.

苏州 is part of the itinerary when I went on a package tour to 上海. Over there, I was given the opportunity to see how silk was manufactured. Also, get to see silkworms and how they spit out silk. Other than that, not much to see.

南京 is part of the itinerary when I went on a package tour to 上海. Went to Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum. Other than that, don’t really remember anymore interesting things in 南京.

杭州 is part of the itinerary when I went on a package tour to 上海. Scenary @ 西湖 is so NICE and artistic. During that day to 西湖, it starts to drizzle and it was so COLD! Colorful flowers can be seen everywhere. Went to 龙井茶园 too.

Due to the period I went is their summer, the weather was damn super HOT (40 degree & abv)! Foods are really very NICE! Apparels, foods and many other things are so CHEAP! Good scenary and historical site…I have conquered the Great Wall too! Haha!

承德 is part of the itinerary when I went on a package tour to 北京. Not much sight-seeing. Went to 避暑山庄 & “小布达拉宫”之称的普陀宗乘之庙 only. Near our hotel, there is pasar malam, haha, night time we went for street shopping.

天津 is part of the itinerary when I went on a package tour to 北京. There isn’t much thing to see and shop in 天津. There got sell alot of artistic/cultural ornaments.
- Genting Highlands, Malaysia

What I can said is that the only thing I enjoy is their cool mountainous weather. Their theme park is OK only, not much interesting rides. Foods and other stuff are priced so costly. Cinema screened only 2-3 movies!

Everytime I went KL, I will get very frustrated with their taxi drivers. They are like all out to cheat our $! Foods are cheap & nice esp. those in Chinatown. Their apparels SUCKS! Sales ppl in the shopping malls are LAZY & provide very poor svcs.

This is indeed a nice place with nice people all around. Due to the period I went is their summer, hence, the day was long/hot (40 degree+) & the night was short/cold. Serving of foods was very large. It’s also my 1st time going to a Casino.
