Complain on Resuming my $6/mth Mobile Plan

To the person in charge,
I would like to lodge a complaint on the request to resume my aforementioned mobile line which was terminated 3 weeks ago. During that time, I was told by one of your customer svc officers (CSO) that I am able to retain back my mobile number if I were to make a resume after I terminated it. This was what she told me when I asked her. However, she did not highlighted to me that I would not be able to enjoy my special monthly rate of $6 if I were to make a resume of my line after the termination. On 1st December 2006, when I called one of your CSO and request to make a resume of my line, she then told me that I will not be able to enjoy my special monthly rate of $6. This was told by her only upon me asking her.I understand that Singtel has always strived to achieve customer loyalty in its customers. I have been with Singtel for almost 3 years. Although, I did make an attempt to cancel its line last year, however, I withdrew my decision on that when one of your customer relationship officers called and offer me a $6 plan. I was glad that they did make an effort to understand my needs. Hence, I decided to continue my service with Singtel.

However, due to some financial problem, I decided to cancel my this line for awhile after knowing from your CSO that I can resume back my line after some reasonable time. Hence, just within three weeks, I decided to make a resume after knowing that some of my overseas clients only aware of this mobile number and I do not have their contact numbers. However, as mentioned above, this time round, your CSO told me that I cannot enjoy the $6/mth plan again. I was shocked! This is totally a new version of story that I heard from the first CSO when I make a termination of the line three weeks ago. I was very agitated! Is it because I am just a small $6/mth customer and there isn’t a need to treasure my account? I wonder is this what you called customer loyalty. I certainly hope Singtel is not merely holding a “Sing & Tell” attitude/image.

Please do assist me in settling this issue. I would appreciate if you could get back to me as soon as possible. I shall look forward to your favorable response.

Thank you.

Rgds,
Leon Chew
